Research Overview: System-level ISA

My research focuses on inventing a higher-level, coarser-grained ISA that can better exploit thread-level parallelism, facilitate more intelligent runtime task manager, and provide performance portability across hardware implementations including varying core count and support for special functional units.

I'm also interested in the general area of parallel programming, parallel compilers, future computer architecture, etc.
