GSRC Student Profile:
Research Overview: PhD student
My recent research has focused on correcting throughput degradation due to backpressure in a Latency-Insensitive System, primarily with queue sizing. We have examined how knowledge of the system topology can make an otherwise difficult problem more approachable.
I am also currently developing techniques for programming multicore systems. My ultimate goal is to make the job of writing parallel programs more intuitive for programmers while exposing useful information about the program's properties to the backend writer so performance can scale gracefully as the number of cores increases.
