Research Overview: Embedded Processor Design for Mobile Computer Vision Applications
My research centers around embedded processors for mobile computer vision applications. As the number of mobile devices with imaging hardware increase, the need for mobile computer vision algorithms is also increasing. However current embedded processors do not typically have the computing power required to run advanced computer vision algorithms efficiently. I am researching computer vision algorithms for mobile platform and embedded processor architectures to efficiently run computer vision applications.
