Research Overview: Shared Resource Management for Multicore Architectures

As multicore architectures such as CMPs and GPUs become the norm, it is important to understand the way that data and on-chip resources are shared among the various cores. My current research focuses on understanding these sharing patterns and proposing new architectural solutions to ensure that inter-core cooperation can happen as efficiently as possible.
