Research Overview: Circuit Techniques to Reduce Reliability Margining
Margins are common in engineering and are used to account for uncertainty in manufacturing, design, environment, and end use. In the semiconductor industry we commonly trade away power and performance to make sure that products operate reliably over their lifetime. My research explores circuit techniques to regain this power and performance by accurately monitoring the health of the system via sensors.
