Research Overview:  Signal Processing Systems based on Systolic Architecture using Magnetic QCA(MQCA) / Emerging Devices

CMOS device scaling has reached its fundamental physical limits and fabricating fault free Mosfet is a challenging task, causing severe degradation in circuit yield. Emerging device technologies like Magnetic QCA, Molecular QCA and Carbon Nano tubes can be potential computational elements substituting Mosfet. My research is oriented towards developing design methodology from an architecture perspective for Magnetic QCAs. We are particularly looking at Systolic Architecture based MQCA system along with developing clock generation and distribution logic. I am also looking at fault tolerant signal processing architectures using emerging devices.
