Research Overview:
My research interests are in resilient design and fault modeling,
with a special focus to their applications in the system-level architecture domain. My interests are focused on studying the effects of faults on silicon
devices to develop fault-resilient designs. This is particularly
important since the extreme scaling of technology is jeopardizing
the correctness and lifetime of digital systems. My research works toward
the goal of keeping technology scaling at the pace of Moore's law, while
ensuring that computers deliver correct results even in face of faults.
In my recent work I am developing a hardware platform for fault-resiliency
analysis where the impact of permanent and/or transient faults can be
directly evaluated on the software applications running on the platform.
