Bio:
Victor Wen received the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and M.S. degree in Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley in 1999 and 2003. He is currently working toward his Ph.D. degree. His current research focuses on designing and implementing a storage system in the dense network domain where low power is the key requirement and constraint. His previous work includes designing an encoding/decoding scheme to reduce power consumed for on-chip communication. He received Honorable Mention in Computing Research Association's Outstanding Undergraduate Research Award and is member of Eta Kappa Nu and Golden Key Honor society.
