Bio:Umit Y. Ogras (Sť00) received the B.S. degree from Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey, in 2000, and the M.S. degree from The Ohio State University, Columbus, in 2002, both in electrical engineering. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA. His research focuses on communication-centric design methodologies for nanoscale systems-on-chip, with a special interest on network-on-chip communication architectures.
