Bio:I grew up in Virginia, relocating to Illinois just before college. During my undergraduate years, I had the opportunity to teach several semesters of an introductory programming course, where I met my advisor. Since joining the IMPACT compiler team, I have focused on accelerating real-world applications through parallelism, most recently teaching and researching data-parallel application acceleration for coprocessors or multicore CPUs using the NVIDIA CUDA framework.
