Bio:Sriram Narayanan received the B.S. degree in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University in 2001. He was a software engineer at National Instruments from 2001 to 2003, where he developed software for PC-based data-acquisition. He received the M.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. His thesis research was focused on the viability of asynchronous sensor networks.

Sriram is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at UIUC. His interests lie in the design of low-power systems comprising collaborating unreliable nodes, with applications in VLSI systems and sensor networks.
