Bio:Selim Sermet Akbay received the B.S. degree in electrical and electronics engineering, and his second B.S. degree in computer engineering from the Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey, in 2000, and the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, in 2002.

He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree at Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a graduate research assistant in Mixed Signal Test Group at Georgia Institute of Technology. His research interests include the test of analog and radio-frequency electronic circuits, test automation and built-in self test.

Mr. Akbay received the Colonel Oscar P. Cleaver Award, Outstanding Graduate Student in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology in 2000.
