Bio:Rebecca is currently a PhD student in the Department of Computer Science at Columbia University. She works with Prof. Luca Carloni. Her interests include programming techniques for multicore systems, queue-sizing and other performance enhancements of Latency-Insensitive systems, and erasure codes. Rebecca is an 2005 NDSEG fellow.

Rebecca recieved an MS in Computer Science from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville in 2004, advised by Prof. James Plank. Her thesis topic was A Framework for Downloading Wide-Area Files.
