Bio:

Mojtaba Mehrara got his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology (Tehran - Iran) in 2005. He is now a PhD candidate in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Michigan. His research interests are compiler and architecture techniques to improve programmability and usability of parallel systems, including automatic thread extraction and transactional memories.
