Bio:Scott Mahlke is an Associate Professor in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department at the University of Michigan, where he leads the Compilers Creating Custom Processors or CCCP group. Mahlke joined the faculty after spending 5 years in the Compiler and Architecture Research Group at Hewlett Packard Laboratories. His work has contributed to the development of the IMPACT and Trimaran compiler systems as well as the PICO synthesis system. His research interests include application specific processors, compilation for multicore systems, and reliable computing. He received the Ph.D degree from the University of Illinois in 1997.
