Bio:
John Sartori is a PhD candidate in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His research focus is on stochastic computing, which encompasses system, architectural, application, and circuit-level design techniques for enabling low-power computation by efficiently handling the substantial variability inherent in current and future technologies. His PhD work on stochastic processors has been the subject of several invited talks and roundtables and has been covered by prominent media outlets such as BBC News, HPCWire, and Engineering and Technology Magazine.
