Bio:I am a second year Ph.D. student in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California, Santa Barbara. I received my M.Sc. and B.Sc. from University of Tehran in 2010 and 2007 respectively, and immediately started my Ph.D. here. I am now working in the SoC Design and Test Lab under the supervision of the renowned Prof. Kwang Ting Cheng since 2010.

My current research interest is in reliability and testing of various interconnections in NOCs and Multi core systems. Particularly I am interested in optical interconnects and RF transmission lines. Over the last years I researched on different subjects, like soft error rate estimation, fault tolerance techniques, design for test (DFT), system level design, Transaction Level Modeling (TLM), and assertion based verification. My Masters' thesis was on the subject of "property verification in TLM designs". Moreover, FPGA programming is my specialty in which I have more than two years of industrial experience. In general, I can say that I do welcome new areas and challenges.

Aside from my technical skills, i am a sociable person who loves working in groups and being with others.
