Bio:Eric Karl received a B.S. in electrical engineering summa cum laude and an M.S in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 2002 and 2004, respectively. He received the EECS Senior Scholar award for outstanding scholastic achievement during his undergraduate coursework.

He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. During his dissertation work, he has held research and development internship positions at Intel Research, IBM Research, Sun Microsystems and General Motors. His current research interests include integrated circuit reliability and low-power circuit design and automation.
