AES: An overview of the Rijndael Encryption Algorithm Melvin Tsai, 18 Oct 2000
Mescal is focused on networks as our principle design
driver, and security is a big part of emerging network
technologies. Rijndael, a symmetric-key block cipher,
has been chosen as the new encryption algorithm for NIST's
Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). Attached to this
article is a short presentation of the algorithm.
