Prof. Sharad Malik (Princeton) receives ICCAD Influential Paper Award

Prof. Sharad Malik, together with Lintao Zhang of Microsoft Corp, Conor Madigan’00 of Kateeva and Matthew Moskewicz of the University of California have received the ICCAD Ten Year Retrospective Most Influential Paper Award for their paper titled “Efficient Conflict Driven Learning in Boolean Satisfiability Solver”. The paper was originally presented at the 2001 International Conference on Computer-Aided Designing (ICCAD). ICCAD is one of the leading conferences dedicated to technical innovations in design automation. It was concluded that the paper was the most influential on research and industrial practice in computer-aided design of integrated circuits during the past ten years.
