I don't have time to check the forum every day! How can I get the server to notify me when a new article is posted? One of the standard mailing lists provided for each group is a notification mailing list. This list contains exactly the members of the corresponding group. If the notification list for, say, group foo is turned on, then all posts and changes to the forum and FAQ of foo will send out mail to the members of foo. To turn on the notification mailing list, the group administrator needs to go the Admin page for that group, click on the Configure link, select the "Member notification list" checkbox, and press the "Change group configuration" button.
